Farm tours · Waitlist · Launching 2027

A day on the water with the people growing British oysters.

Small-group guided visits to specific UK oyster farms. Six people. One producer. A morning on the boat or in the beds, followed by a shucking lesson and a proper lunch. Launching Y2. Waitlist open now.

The shape

  • 01

    Six people

Small enough that the producer can actually talk to everyone. Large enough that OYSTR can run the day at reasonable margin.

  • 02

    One producer per tour

Loch Ryan in September. Colchester Native in October. Duchy of Cornwall in November. One farm, one day, one story.

  • 03

    A morning on the water

Boat trip out to the beds or racks. Watching the producer work through the tide. Handling live oysters. Understanding the growing method.

  • 04

    Lunch with the producer

Somewhere near the farm. Oysters, obviously, but also the local food that came up alongside the oyster industry. Cheese, bread, sea vegetables, wine.

  • 05

    Shucking lesson

Every guest leaves knowing how to shuck properly. Take the technique home. Never pay someone else to open your oysters again.

  • 06

    Small take-home

Every guest goes home with a dozen live oysters from the farm they just visited, plus a printed guide covering everything they learned.

Expected pricing
